Waited for 45 minutes for our 2 dinners. My husband had lasagna which appeared to be a child's portion. Place is very popular food is ok service is not so ok. Waitress never visited with us during the 45 minute wait

My husband and I have made this our "go-to" place for italian food. This is a very intimate setting with excellent food and ingredients. The staff is very personable. We met the current owner's wife on our first visit soon after it opened. Very genuine woman that I understand has since passed, but the quality of the food has carried on.

THIIS THE BEST KEPT SECRET IN THIS AREA. The food is really excellent, the wine list Has some excellent wines at reasonable prices . We eat here every week and we have never been disappointed . The home made pasta and the pork chop are as good as it gets anywhere. The menu selection has something for everyone and we take our visitors the all the time. WE HAVE BEVER HAD A BAD MEAL HERE. FULL MARKS FOR QUALITY AND GREAT SERVICE.

This place is amazing. Bread w garlic oil and balsamic vinegar is perfect start. Service is great, wine selection, and food is far better than ever expected. New favorite for both my fiance and myself.

Typically, don't write reviews. However, this place deserves this one. I called at 8:40 pm on a Friday night and the hostess that answered told me they were closed while it states open till 9pm on their door and online. I called and girl that answered said " closed early cause business was slow, sorry ". Hung up.I called again about three minutes later to confirm and sure enough got the same answer "it was slow so we closed early". I told the gal that answered " so you would rather close and lose business than take in more money?" she said " yes ". And hung up. Don't recommend this place at all.

Horrible Experience, Avoid at all costs. Went to dinner here recently and had a $9 less than mediocre salad, to top it off my guest had a pork chop that wasn't great, and I had a lasagna which tasted like crap. I would not take the time to post a review normally but I had the urge too because I was so dissatisfied with the food. Don't make the mistake I did by going to this overpriced restaurant.

Very friendly and attentive service. Risotto has insane quantities of clams, octopus, scallops, and shrimp heaped on top. Panna cotta is impressively tasty.

I have gone to just about every Italian restaurant in and around oxnard. The Italian Job is by far the very best Italian restaurant in the area! The price is relatively inexpensive as well. The staff is very polite, professional and will not leave you waiting for anything. There is a plethora of wines to choose from and the desert menu is exquisite! The Italian Job is a must stop spot for delicious Italian cuisine! Highly recommended.

Nice surroundings in a relatively new building. You order from the counter and then the food and drink are brought to your table. Good quality meat with lots of fries (enough for two). Service is pretty quick.

It is in a charming location, the patio overlooks the wharf where the yachts are docked. The menu has a variety of authentic Italian entrees, delicious appetizers & lucious desserts. Very family friendly.

NEVER AGAIN !!!After spending close to 70 $ (as well as a generous tip) for a nice dinner for 3 we where quite rudley reminded that the restaurant is now closing, indicating that we should hurry up with the just ordered Gelato and a desert Grappa and get the hell out.We live in Mandalay Bay and prefer to support our local businesses but not under any circumstance.Ciao "Italian Job" and bongiorno Cafe Fiori .
